Chapter two
Day 3: Jeju

We went to the place where DaChangJin learnt medicine at Jeju island. And we bought this 'wu wei zi' thing that is supposed to improve our eyesight..etc
and we had our ATV ride as well. it was very fun and quite a long ride. Although we were decked in army attire and helmet, our ears,nostrils,neck,feet,hair, all the hidden places(apparently) were all FILLED WITH DUST!! gross

Then we went back to seoul. We went Dongdaemun and the first thing we did was to find the money exchanger BECAUSE, we were soo broke by then. And we bought like S$600 over which was used up in 2 days!!
THIS IS THE PLACE TO SHOP! but should only go at night where clothes are sold at wholesale prices.

we then travelled for 3hours to the hotel near mount sorak. Had Karen's favorite dinner: Squid in hotpot! and bought some seaweed crackers as well.
it was freaking cold at night! anyway, the breakfast at the hotel was terrible. I think thats the only breakfast where I ate SOO LITTLE!

Day 4: Mount Sorak
Took a 3 min cable car up the mountain before walking another few mins to the top of mount sorak. it was quite a terrifying climb because we had to trek on rocks,pebbles to take pictures of the breathtaking scenery!
After that, we went to Sinheungsa Temple. They allow tourists to write their wishes on candles or roof tiles and it was funny what some people wrote. eg. I wish to meet an awesome guy, lada lada..

Naksan beach: we attempted to break the wooden platform by trying to do so many jumpshots! This is also the place where ains got sunburnt! the weather in korea is dry but cooling. but then the sun rays, UV rays are much worse than singapore. one can just get sunburnt by standing under the sun for 15mins. We also went to the filming location of autumn in my heart.
